A stair gate proved to be no obstacle for one agile cat.
Gorgeous George, a chocolate point Himalayan, took one look at the barrier and almost seemed to float as he gracefully leapt over it.
Footage shows the one-year-old puss, from Melbourne, bobbing up and down as he prepares to jump.

Easily hurdling the obstacle, Gorgeous George gracefully begins his descent

He makes a perfect landing on the other side near a bowl of food and cat litter
He then takes off, and barely changes his stance while airborne before wandering off, past some cat litter, out of view – possibly in his owner’s home.
‘Chocolate point’ refers to the brown coloration around the cat’s ‘points’ – namely their ears, mask (area around the eyes), feet and tail.

Himalayan cats first appeared in the US circa 1924, where organisations started recognising it as a breed in 1957.
