Home And Away star Bonnie Sveen ties the knot with longterm partner Nathan Gooley

Home And Away star Bonnie Sveen has tied the knot with her long-term partner Nathan Gooley in Tasmania. 

The couple, who have been engaged since 2020, married earlier this month during an outdoor ceremony at Stewarts Bay Lodge in Port Arthur, surrounded by 100 close friends and family. 

Speaking to New Idea magazine, Bonnie revealed she and Nathan wanted to keep their day ‘nice and simple’ rather than ‘putting on a show’. 

The couple also made sure their four-year-old twin daughters Myrtle and Emerald were front and centre throughout the day. 

‘It was a dream come true for us to have our two little children watching on, and being a part of it, celebrating,’ Bonnie said. 

‘We were coming at the wedding as a whole family circle, rather than as just a pair.’ 

Bonnie stunned in an ivory satin Madi Lane bridal gown that featured off-the-shoulder strap, a fitted corset bodice and a dramatic train.

She wore her blonde locks pinned up in loose waves and completed her look with statement pearl earrings. 

The couple also made sure their 4-year-old twin daughters Myrtle and Emerald (both pictured) were front and centre throughout the day 

Nathan meanwhile sported a beige suit, white button-up shirt and tan leather dress shoes. 

Using the breathtaking natural surroundings as a backdrop, Bonnie and Nathan tied tied the knot beneath an archway that had been crafted by Bonnie’s father using salvaged driftwood. 

Bonnie’s mother meanwhile decorated the tables with home-grown flowers.

‘It was the most grateful I’ve ever been in my life to just have this day to celebrate love and each other and everyone’s good health and being able to be together,’ she told the publication.

However, in her new interview she revealed Nathan actually dropped the knee in 2010. 

The actress played Ricky Sharpe on Home and Away from 2013 to 2016. 

After leaving the show, she went on to appear in the TV series The Secret Daughter, before taking time off to to start her family.
