Homicide detectives investigate as couple are found dead with serious injuries at a house in Birmingham

Homicide detectives are investigating the deaths of a man and a woman who were found dead at a house in Birmingham.
The couple were discovered inside the property in the Moseley area of the city at around 5.30pm yesterday evening.
West Midlands Police said officers were called to the home address on Oxford Road, where they found the man and woman, who both had serious injuries.

In a statement, police added: ‘Homicide detectives are currently trying to establish how they came about their injuries, but at this stage they do not suspect anyone else to be involved and the couple were known to each other.
‘A cordon has been put in place at the property for forensic examinations and officers are speaking to neighbours.’
