Trump Organization executive Eric Trump blasted Hunter Biden for ‘enriching himself off his father’s position’ in a Saturday night interview that aired just as President Donald Trump explained his sudden reversal on hosting the G7 summit at the Doral golf club overseen by his son.
Eric Trump, who runs the president’s company along with older brother Donald Trump Jr. and en executive, called it ‘sickening’ when people cash in and start doing business deals when a family member gets into politics. He said he and his siblings stopped doing deals when Trump got elected – although watchdog groups have sued the company over the operations of its Washington, D.C. hotel while Trump is in office.
‘It can’t happen in politics on any side of the aisle,’ Eric Trump told Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro on her show.
‘Where does Joe Biden get off being so pompous and above it all?’ the host, a favorite of President Trump’s, asked his son.

‘I think American people are going to see that. He is pompous. And they are above it all. And If I was doing the same thing that that family was doing, I’d be in jail,’ Eric Trump responded.
‘Why is it that every family in politics and enriches themselves?’ he asked, in a comment that drew immediate scrutiny online.
‘We’re the only family,’ he complained, prompting Pirro to interject: ‘The least money!’
‘We stopped doing deals when my father because … we stopped doing deals when he went into politics,’ Trump said.

Eric Trump was an executive at the Trump Organization when his father began his presidential run. He owns and operates a winery in Charlottesville, Virginia at a property that his father acquired through land purchases from the Patricia Kluge made possible in part through foreclosure proceedings.
President Trump and Pirro have been friends for decades.
During the interview, Trump tweeted about his surprise decision to reverse course and not hold the G7 summit at his Doral golf club. The move had led to some second-guessing by Republicans, and some Democrats were vowing to make it part of their impeachment inquiry,’ claiming it could enrich the president by filling rooms and providing free exposure in possible violation of the Constitution’s Emoluments Clause.
‘I thought I was doing something very good for our Country by using Trump National Doral, in Miami, for hosting the G-7 Leaders. It is big, grand, on hundreds of acres, next to MIAMI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, has tremendous ballrooms & meeting rooms, and each delegation would have … its own 50 to 70 unit building,’ Trump tweeted.
