Fernando Alonso – who became a two-time F1 world champion after winning the Drivers’ Championship in both 2005 and 2006 – has had his fair share of relationships over the years.
He was married to Raquel del Rosario and engaged to Lara Alvarez. He also had relationships with Carolina Costa, Dasha Kapustina, Linda Morselli and most recently Andrea Schlager.
Alonso – who has returned to the top of his F1 game this season after linking up with Aston Martin – has also been linked with pop sensation Taylor Swift and added fuel to the fire by posting a cryptic TikTok online.
Alonso cheekily hinting at the rumours, Alonso took to TikTok to share a video of himself scrolling through his phone as Taylor’s hit song Karma played in the background.
He then looked up and winked at the camera as he cryptically addressed the rumours, sending fans completely wild.

Married Raquel Del Rosario
Alonso was married to singer Raquel Del Rosario after falling in love with her after winning the series’ World Drivers’ Championship in 2005.
Alonso and started dating in 2005 after Alonso invited the brunette – lead singer for the Spanish rock band El Sueno de Morfeo – to perform at a concert to mark his first F1 title.
The pair lived in Oxford before moving their residence to Switzerland. However, they were fiercely protective of their privacy and only confirmed they were married two years after their 2006 marriage.
But, things didn’t work out for the couple and they released their split via the following statement: ‘After five years of marriage, we have decided to end our relationship as a couple. This has been a very though about and mutual decision.
‘We are separating from marriage, but never as friends, and there is still a very strong affection and mutual admiration to ensure the happiness of the other.
‘With this statement, addressed to all who follow our careers, we wish to bring an end to any speculation. With it, we ask that the media respects our personal lives which, as you know, we have always been keen to protect.’

Dated Miss Switzerland runner-up
Alonso moved on relatively quickly after his split from Del Rosario and started dating former banker and Miss Switzerland runner-up Xenia Tchoumitcheva.
Tchoumitcheva completed an internship at JP Morgan and looked destined for a career as a high-flying banker after receiving offers from Merrill Lynch and Duet Group.
However, it wasn’t her calling. Tchoumitcheva told the MailOnline in 2013 that signing was ‘way more fun than working in banks’ and admitted to humming her favourite tunes while colleagues did trades worth millions.
Tchoumitcheva decided to leave the world of finance and did a bit of work in television and modelling before pursuing a career in singing – releasing a raunchy rap song.

The couple seemed to be enjoying each other’s company as they were seen hugging and kissing before sharing a jet ski together.
Alonso also took his girlfriend to Las Vegas ahead of the British Grand Prix. Clearly wanting to get in a little time together before heading to the UK, the racing driver and his other half looked relax as they trotted around the electric city.

However, their whirlwind romance didn’t last long and the pair called it time on their relationship after just 16 months. Their split was confirmed after Alvarez was seen heading to the gym without her engagement ring.
There was no bad blood between the couple, instead the parted ways due to their work commitments. At the time of the split, Alonso was on his way to Australia to kick off his F1 season, before jet-setting his way across the globe.
While Lara was heading to off to Honduras to film the new season of Spain’s version of survivor, Telcinco Supervivientes.

Alonso is said to have dated Viki Odintcova. However, he is not the only F1 driver Odintcova had been linked too. The brunette beauty claimed that Lewis Hamilton pursued her after parting ways with his former girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger.
RT quotes her as saying: ‘We had different types of relationship. At a certain period of time it was romantic. He was courting me.’
Viktoria reportedly revealed that the pair met in Barcelona 2013, before exchanging direct messages on Instagram. She continued: ‘It was after Nicole Scherzinger. We met in Barcelona three or four years ago. We have been on good terms since then, he’s my friend.’
The model previously claimed that she had been messaged by countless footballers and athletes on Instagram in the past, including former Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

Spent half a decade with Linda Morselli
Alonso spent half a decade with Italian lingerie model Linda Morselli – who previously dated MotoGP rider and nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi.
She first met Alonso at a Formula One race in 2016 and the pair confirmed their relationship soon after – going Instagram official thanks to a lengthy posted shared on both of their accounts in 2017.
Morselli played an important role in Alonso’s life, and career. She helped him cover after he was hit by a car on a roundabout while cycling in Switzerland.
On a bike ride to build up his fitness ahead of his return to F1 after a two-year absence, Alonso – who was 39 at the time – was hit by a car near his home in Lugano.
He was taken to a nearby hospital before being transferred to another facility in the city of Bern, as he required an operation on his jaw.
Morselli aided Alonso’s recovery but the wasn’t enough to keep them together as they split after half a decade in 2022.

Alonso started dating a journalist and TV presenter named Andrea Schlager in 2022 after meeting her in the paddock.
Andrea often reports on race events for the network ServusTV, and it’s been said that the two first met while she was covering Formula 1 in 2021.
They soon started commenting on and liking each other’s pictures on social media, before confirming their relationship to the world by sharing a loved-up photo together in May 2022.
On top of working as presenter, Andrea is also the brand ambassador for a car company called Cupra, as well as an avid tennis player.
Andrea has racked up her own fanbase from her work on television, and has more than 120,000 followers on Instagram.
However, the pair split recently with the F1 driver shared news of their break-up on Instagram, writing: ‘We wanted to tell you that our relationship as a couple ended.
‘We have been lucky enough to share a fantastic time together, and it will continue to be so, but on a different form of affection.’
