How much are the boys from 5SOS worth?

They’re the Australian rockers with humble beginnings, hailing from Sydney’s Western Suburbs.

And now the boys from 5SOS have made Billboard history, with their third album Youngblood taking out the No.1 spot in the US this week.

And now it’s been reported that the boys are worth a whopping $40 million, or a cool $10 million each.

The band is made up of members Luke Hemmings, 21, Calum Hood, 22, Ashton Irwin, 23, and Michael Clifford, 22.

Last year, it was reported that Calum, Luke and Ashton bought homes in Los Angeles, with singer and drummer Ashton snapping up a modern pad in Studio City.

It was reported the home cost close to a cool (US) $2 million.

Last year, Calum – bass guitarist for the band – reportedly snapped up a pad owned by rocker Ritchie Kotzen for (US) $1.4 million in the Hollywood Hills.

In 2014, the rockers said they hadn’t yet cashed in on their success, despite having their single She Looks So Perfect reaching number one in Australia and New Zealand at the time.

Calum said they hadn’t seen ‘much’ of the money from the song and their situation ‘hasn’t really changed,’ when talking to The Daily Telegraph.

Luke explained: ‘People don’t buy as much music as they used to, it’s very hard to break through. You have to be quite big.’

This week, it was reported that their album Youngblood topped the coveted Billboard 200 charts, after its release on June 15.

While an impressive feat in its own right, the top spot also makes the four piece the first band in Billboard history to have their first three studio albums go No.1.

Taking to Twitter, the band thanked their fans: ‘Today you made history for 4 young men, and you are every reason why we feel like the luckiest people alive.’

‘Youngblood is a certified billboard #1 album in America. You came together as people to get us our 3rd number one record for all the right reasons.’

Their top spot on the Billboard charts was due to earning more than 142,000 equivalent album units in the week ending June 21.

5SOS is now the only band (not vocal group) in chart history to see its first three full-length studio albums enter the Billboard (200) at No. 1.

They’ve also become the first Australian act to secure the top spot for their first three albums.
