How to do a classic magic trick

The secrets behind some of the most classic, but baffling, magic tricks have been exposed, in a fascinating video shared online.

Uploaded to international Facebook group Five Minute Crafts, they show how to do simple tricks including hiding a ball under a cup, and lighting a matchstick with what appears to be a used match. 

In one instance a McDonald’s straw appears to move another straw as if by magic, but it is revealed it is down to the static energy. 

Meanwhile an envelope is cut in half leaving the 50 Euro note inside in one piece – simply by using a windowed letter.
