Ice Arena: 16 children rushed to hospital with carbon monoxide poisoning in Adelaide

At least 16 children have been rushed to hospital after suffering suspected carbon monoxide poisoning while at an ice skating rink in Adelaide. 

Emergency services attended the ice skating arena on James Congdon Drive in Thebarton, just before 3.30am.

Firefighters found high levels of carbon monoxide in the area

Firefighters tested the area for harmful gasses and found high levels of carbon monoxide in the air. 

It is unknown how many people have been affected.
