I’m A Celebrity SPOILER: Snoochie Shy is left hysterical as RATS crawl over her body while she is forced to grapple with critters after being voted for her second trial in two days

Shoochie Shy tackled one of the first I’m A Celebrity tasks on Monday’s show.

And on Tuesday night, fans will be treated to another insight into the mayhem inside the Castle as the DJ, 29, has been voted to take part in another task – this time involving creepy crawlies and rats.

In scenes from Tuesday night’s show, hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly oversee the challenge as she is locked in box and covered in unsavoury creatures.

Aghh! Shoochie Shy tackled one of the first I’m A Celebrity tasks on Monday’s show and is back for more action on Tuesday evening

Ant and Dec introduced the challenge, saying to the stars and aides: ‘Wardens, close the traps please… Very best of luck, start when you hear the klaxon.’

As she lies in an enclosed box, Snoochie was seen screaming as she attempted to collect stars while having rats crawl all over her body.

She placed her hands into closed boxes filled with critters and attempted to retrieve the prizes which would dictate whether the camp would eat.

The previous evening Snoochie and Emmerdale’s Danny Miller were left repulsed while embarking on the eating trial.

In scenes which aired on Monday night’s episode of the show, the DJ and actor, 30, were faced with repulsive servings such as a Sneeze Burger.

Host Ant broke the news to the duo that the burger was made of a cow’s nose – leading to hysterics from the spooked celebrities – while Ant’s co-host Dec urged viewers to ‘turn over now’ amid the screams.

Monday’s episode followed on from the launch night, which saw a fall in ratings on nearly 2m viewers from last year’s historic debut episode.

The 21st season of the ITV show kicked off in Wales’ Gwrych Castle on Sunday evening and numbers from overnights.tv, show a peak audience on 9m – a fall of nearly 2m on last year’s debut, which aired on 15 November 2020.

Despite the fall in numbers, the show, which aired from 9pm-10.40pm, remained the channel’s most-watched programme of the weekend, a year on from scoring historic numbers for the launch night in peak lockdown.

ITV scored its biggest Sunday night of the year thanks to the episode and An Audience With Adele which accrued a peak of 5.4million viewers, the third highest rated show of the night – with each show scoring 1m streams at time of publication.
