  • He told a crowd of MAGA faithful: ‘I’m being indicted for you’
  • Trump called the state and federal criminal charges against him ‘a great badge of courage’

Former President Donald Trump rolled out a possible new campaign slogan Saturday night at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference in Washington, D.C.: ‘I’m being indicted for you.’

Trump headlined the conference’s Saturday night gala and continued to complain about the recent federal charges brought against him for mishandling classified documents, again arguing that he was merely an ex-president ‘legally keeping his own documents.’

He got a ‘USA’ chant from the crowd as he proclaimed, ‘I’m probably the only person in history who was indicted and my numbers went up.’

‘Everytime the radical left Democrats, Marxist, commuists and fascists indict me, I consider it a great badge of courage,’ Trump said.

Trump knocked around President Joe Biden for son Hunter’s business dealings with China – portraying the president as soft on the rising power due to his family’s financial entanglements.

Former President Donald Trump rolled out a possible new campaign slogan Saturday night at the Faith & Freedom Coalition conference in Washington, D.C.: ‘I’m being indicted for you.’

Trump read to the crowd a text message from Hunter to a Chinese business associate, which says Hunter was with Joe at the time ‘and we would like to understand why the commitment made has not been fulfilled.’

‘This is cash he’s talking about,’ Trump told the crowd of the ‘commitment.’

‘Can you believe that? I didn’t know that he was that tough,’ he said, earning laughs.

The ex-president suggested that President Biden was doing nothing to keep China from installing military installations on Cuba.

‘Unless I get back in,’ Trump said. ‘In which case I will inform China that they have 48 hours to get any military and spying equipment out of Cuba, or I will drop the hammer, and there will be tariffs unlike anything China has seen before.’

Trump was easily the favorite speaker at the conference.

‘I have to ask Ralph a questin, were your other candidates treated this way?’ Trump said, turing to Faith & Freedom Coalition founder Ralph Reed, who was seated at the dais behind him.

Trump then joked that one presidential candidate ‘was booed off the stage,’ alluding to New Jersey Gov. Chris Chrstie’s, whose Trump criticism Friday morning at the conference got him heckled.
