Jesinta Franklin (née Campbell), 27, left fans disappointed when failed to attend the Brownlow Medal Count last year.

And as the aspiring supermodel reaches the higher echelons of Australia’s celebrity scene, fans have been left wondering whether Jesinta is set to miss AFL’s night of nights yet again. 

While the likes of WAG royalty Nadia Bartel and Rebecca Judd have documented their red carpet preparations on social media, Jesinta has remained conspicuously silent on whether she is attending.

However, she did provide a big hint she will be on the red carpet on Monday night, posting a picture of her and husband Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin going for a romantic lunch at popular Indian restaurant Tonka in Melbourne just hours ahead of the big event.

The Sydney Swans star also appears on the official Brownlow Medal Count guestlist.

Gold-coast born Jesinta became a household name after competing at the Miss Universe competition in 2010, where she placed second runner up.

Possessing a knack for staying in the spotlight, the star has since worked as an ambassador for high-end brands such as Moët and Dior.

Their last ever appearance? Jesinta's most recent appearance on the Brownlow Medal red carpet was in 2016, when she posed in a daring low-cut frock with husband Buddy (pictured at the Sydney Swans function ahead of the 2016 Brownlow Medal ceremony)

She has also captured the attention of Americans in the fashion and beauty industries, and has been named an ambassador for US companies Olay and Tiffany & Co.

She also served as an ambassador for David Jones for two years, making her runway debut for the brand in 2015. 

Following her departure from the retail giant late last year, Jestina claimed that David Jones nor its competitor Myer could afford to work with her and her husband.  

‘I don’t know if department stores have the budget anymore, to be quite frank,’ Jesinta told The Daily Telegraph.
