Jason famously played the role of Joseph at the London Palladium in the early 90s, endearing him to British audiences.

The role even saw him nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award in 1992.

Outside of a performance in 2007, Jason hasn’t slipped back into the eye-catching jacket since his days on stage 30 years ago.

Other performers at Party at the Palace included a mix of legends and younger singers including Rod Stewart, Mabel, and Craig David.

Motown legend Diana Ross, performing for the first time in Britain in 15 years, was a star attraction at the event, which had an estimated 22,000 people in attendance.

The event is being held on a purpose-built 360-degree stage outside the queen’s central London residence.
