Javi Gracia admits relegation-threatened Leeds United have a ‘big problem’ and he is ‘worried’ after suffering a triple injury blow.

The Whites boss says midfielder Tyler Adams faces a fight to be fit again this season having been forced to have an operation on his hamstring.

Gracia also ruled defender Max Wober and forward Willy Gnonto out of Saturday’s game at league leaders Arsenal with the respective hamstring and ankle injuries they picked up on international duty.

The duo are now major doubts for next week’s home clashes with relegation rivals Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace.

‘It is a big problem for us,’ admitted Gracia, whose side are 14th in the table but just two points clear of the bottom three. ‘We lost important players for the next games.

‘Tyler, we will see his evolution. After the surgery, we will see if he can play any games this season.

‘Max and Willy need time to recover. What I know is they are out for this game and I think it will be more time. I don’t know if one week more or two weeks more.

‘I have to be worried about it because they are important players for us and we don’t have a very big squad.

‘We have to try to look for the solutions. But I believe in all the players I have.’

Gracia also says that forwards Rodrigo and Luis Sinisterra are still not fully fit despite both returning from injury for the games against Brighton and Wolves before the international break.

‘Luis and Rodri are improving in condition but they are not in the best condition,’ added the Spaniard.

‘They need time, training more, competing more with more minutes. Luis is improving and feeling better day by day. I’m sure he will help us in the next games, as will Rodri.’
