Jenna Dewan recreates heartwarming childhood snaps

Jenna Dewan was clearly feeling nostalgic on Thursday.

The 41-year-old fired up her Instagram to recreate childhood snap of herself striking poses while wearing a sparkly costume.

In her new pictures, she managed to put together a new outfit in roughly the same colors as the old – and she appeared to be wearing the original glittering headband.

‘Then and now… who wore it better?’ she wrote with a crying laughing emoji, adding: ‘(Also, all of this was somehow in my closet.)’

Jenna recently struck a two-film deal with Lifetime, which she has starred in multiple projects for in years past.

One of her upcoming TV movies, which she will produce as well as star in, will reportedly be a holiday-themed part of the It’s A Wonderful Lifetime slate.

‘I am so excited to re-team with Lifetime on these projects,’ Jenna gushed in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter.

‘They’ve always been such wonderful partners and have truly paved the way for female-focused entertainment.’ 

The actress and dancer concluded: ‘It’s going to be a lot of fun getting to tell some really special stories together.’

Taking the show to her Insta Stories, she spilled: ‘Thrilled to have this dream come true! Also excited to partner with @lifetimetv who has paved the way for so many female entertainers to expand on and off screen.’

In her personal life Jenna is a proud mother to two children, the eldest being her daughter Everly, eight, whom she shares with her ex-husband Channing Tatum.

Jenna also has a one-year-old baby named Callum with her fiance Steve Kazee, who proposed to her at the baby shower.
