Jennifer Garner is all smiles as she walks her dog

Jennifer Garner is not letting the coronavirus crisis get her down.

The actress was her usual cheerful self as she took her dog Birdie for a walk in Brentwood on Sunday along with two of her children; Seraphina, 11 and Samuel, eight.

She kept warm on the chilly morning stroll wearing a navy sweater and pink sweatpants along with grey sneakers.

Looking fresh and youthful the 47-year-old Alias star tied her hair up in a messy bun.

Meanwhile, Jennifer got real about her coronavirus outbreak anxieties during an otherwise relaxed interview on The Tonight Show: At Home Edition on Friday.

The 47-year-old Peppermint star revealed she was most concerned about how her elderly parents would deal with the global pandemic.

According to Jennifer, her parents Patricia and William don’t seem to understand just how important it is for their health that they stay home and isolated from others.

‘The hard thing are teens and early 20s people and my parents,’ she explained via video chat.

‘My parents are the hard ones. I’m like, “Dad, Mom, the world is shut down to keep you safe.” And they’re like, “We think we’re going to go to Sam’s Warehouse,'” she joked.

‘Stay home, you have to stay home!’ she added.

As of Saturday, over 300,000 people have tested positive for a coronavirus infection, though the actual number is higher as testing has failed to meet demand, particularly in the US.

Too independent: 'My parents are the hard ones. I'm like, "Dad, Mom, the world is shut down to keep you safe." And they're like, "We think we're going to go to Sam's Warehouse,"' joked Jennifer. 'Stay home, you have to stay home!'

So far, 13,000 people have died from Covid-19, the respiratory illness caused by the coronavirus, with more than 300 deaths reported in the US.

Individuals over 60 are more likely to die or experience severe symptoms of the illness, and the fatality rate is even worse for people over 80, according to the New York Times.

Luckily for Jennifer, it seems to be easier to take care of her three children, Violet, 14, Seraphina, 11, and Samuel, eight, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ben Affleck, 47.

Frightening: Jen's concerns are valid, as Covid-19 is most severe for people over 60. So far, over 300 people have died in the US, and 13,000 have died globally

‘I think I have the perfect age kids for this because they’re big enough to understand and to have the conversations,’ she explained.

‘Like, we’re built for challenge, we can do this, we’re a tough team. Let’s learn about a vacuum cleaner.’ But they’re not so big that they’re just like, ‘Well I don’t care. I’m going to go.’

The Love, Simon actress also delved into her efforts to help children as they’re stuck at home amid widespread school closures.

Great timing: According to the Alias star, her three children are well-prepared to socially distance. 'I think I have the perfect age kids for this because they're big enough to understand and to have the conversations,' she explained

She started the Save with Stories program with her friend Amy Adams, in which the two leading ladies enlist other actors and celebrities to read children’s books on social media.

In addition to providing entertainment for cooped-up kids, the celebrities also collect donations for Save the Kids and No Kid Hungry to help children from low-income families who haven’t been receiving their free or reduced-cost lunches now that school is out.

Jennifer whipped out her saxophone from her high school marching band days for a grand finale duet with Jimmy.

He also had his guitar, but he ended up just singing along as she played Happy Birthday, though he improvised the lyrics and turned it into a song about handwashing to protect against the coronavirus.
