Jennifer Lawrence looks stylish while running errands with her son Cy in New York City

The promotional push for Jennifer Lawrence’s first lead role in a proper comedy film kicked off earlier in March with adverts and a debut trailer.

But with three more months until No Hard Feelings makes it premiere in theaters across the US, the actress still has time to devote much of her attention to her son Cy, who only just celebrated his first birthday in February.

And on Friday the leading lady took advantage of the downtime and headed out on an errand run in her adopted hometown of New York City, and then returned home to pick up her boy and take him on a casual walk in his baby stroller.

The first-time mother was spotted in both instances looking stylish while wearing yet another trench coat, only this time she wore a tan version that she paired with dark blue jeans and a white top.

As the temperature rose from the 40s Fahrenheit into the low 50s, she shed her light brown sweater and threw it over her shoulders while tying it around her neck.

Knowing she was going to do a lot of walking throughout the day, Lawrence added a pair of tan Adidas sneakers to the ensemble, while styling her blonde tresses long, straight and flowing down close to the middle of her back with a center part.

As the sun creeped out from behind the clouds and began glaring, the Kentucky native slipped on some cool, dark sunglasses.

While out and about solo as she took care of personal business, Lawrence carried a dark brown bag over her right arm.

Later, after going home to get Cy for their walk, she exchanged the large bag for her son’s stroller that she pushed around he West Village neighborhood in Manhattan.

Cy seemed to be enjoying his time with his mom while he was strapped into his seat and dressed in a blue winter jacket with black pants and matching Nike sneakers.

It appears Lawrence has a taste for long jackets like trench coats and overcoats, considering she’s been photographed wearing a number of versions in recent years, including a darker brown trench that she belted at the waist this week while out on a stroll with her husband Cooke Maroney, 38.

The Silver linings Playbook star has seemingly taken a step back in her work load since starting her family with Maroney, whom she married in October 2019.

She has starred in just two films, Don’t Look Up and Causeway, since finishing the shoots for Red Sparrow and Dark Phoenix in 2017.

Trademark style: The Oscar-winning actress wore a light brown trench coat during both outings on Friday, which is a familiar theme for the Silver Linings Playbook star, considering she's often seen wearing long overcoats and trench coats
