Jennifer Love Hewitt shares rare video with son Atticus, nine, on Christmas

Jennifer Love Hewitt gave fans a glimpse at her life as a mom in an adorable video featuring her son Atticus.

Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the 45-year-old actress — who recently clapped back at critics — uploaded a clip showing her attempt at distracting her firstborn child from his iPad.

She wrote in the caption, ‘When you want to bond with your kids but they are watching the iPad! Take what you can get!’

The youngster wore a collared blue shirt and Baltimore Ravens hat while snacking on pretzel sticks.

Hewitt, who shares her three children with longtime husband Brian Hallisay, doesn’t usually show her children’s faces online.

In the outtake she dramatically lip synced viral adlibs to the Golden Girls theme song while lovingly invading her son’s space.

Atticus cracked a smile, unable to contain his laughter while his mom put on an entertaining display.

In addition to Atticus, Jennifer and Brian are parents to Autumn, 11, and Aiden, three. 

Hewitt recently opened about her 11-year marriage to fellow actor Brian in an interview with People.

The actress and author usually keeps her personal and professional life separate, but since they both intersect in her latest film, The Christmas Junkie, Hewitt shared a few tidbits of their romance in an article with People.

She shared that she’s proud they’ve stuck together through thick and thin and three kids.

And the Bare Naked singer joked that her decade-plus marriage is ‘like 190 years in Hollywood.’

The couple tied the knot on November 21, 2013, days before their first child was born.

They initially met in 2011 on the set of Love Bites, but didn’t strike up a romance until working on 2012’s The Client List.

‘I thought he was the most beautiful man I had ever seen in my life,’ the 9-1-1 star recalled to the outlet.

‘I said to my manager and friend at the time: “I’m going to marry that man, and I’m going to have his children.” She said, “Sweetheart, I think everybody thinks they’re going to marry that man and have his children.” I was like, “Yeah, but I’m going to do it. Just watch.”‘

While it was love at first sight for Hewitt, she thinks it took her now-husband, 46, more time.

‘I don’t know that it was instant for him,’ she admitted, ‘But it was instant for me,’ she noted

The I Know What You Did Last Summer star said she wasn’t attracted to Hallisay just for his handsome looks, but also because ‘he was kind, and he was good, and close with his family and he was smart.’

She shared, ‘We just had fun, and I was smitten. I got lucky enough to end up with him. And guess what? I did marry him, and I did have his kids.’
