Jesse Marsch’s Leeds future is in MAJOR doubt after Nottingham Forest defeat left his side winless in the league since early November – with club chiefs considering a change as faith in the American wanes

  • Leeds have taken just 11 points from the last 51 on offer in the Premier League
  • Senior figures at the club are contemplating a change in manager currently
  • Jesse Marsch is under major pressure with the side locked in a relegation fight

Leeds boss Jesse Marsch’s future at the club is in major doubt following Sunday’s loss to Nottingham Forest.

The club’s ownership are losing faith in the American, with senior figures at Elland Road minded to make a change.

There are members of the club’s top brass who believe Marsch should stay on, namely sporting director Victor Orta.

However, Marsch is now facing an uphill battle to keep his job.

Leeds are hovering just above the relegation zone following a dismal run of seven Premier League matches without a victory which has seen them alas just three points from 21.

Marsch’s position has been under scrutiny from the top of the club for some time.

But Leeds has stuck by the American, who has been strongly supported by Orta.

The recent appointment of coach Chris Armas to Marsch’s coaching team was seen as a show of support to the beleaguered boss.

However, the concerns behind the scenes have remained.

Sources have also indicated there was some internal tension over the club’s recruitment strategy during the January window.
