Australian singer Jessica Mauboy is celebrating the release of her new single, Glow, this week. 

And ahead of the new single dropping on Friday, the 32-year-old said she feels ‘liberated’ and has ‘grown’ as a person after working on the new track. 

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph, The Voice mentor said she’s feeling the best she’s ever felt after leaving Sony Music and signing a new contract with Warner music.

‘There is a huge liberation,’ Jess told the publication. 

‘My mind has grown, my body has grown, I know I am capable.’

She added that her new track is her ‘confidence’ song.

The past 12 months have been massive for Jessica, who has parted ways with Sony Music and her manager as she chooses to enter a new and freer era of music.

She has also proven to been a hit with viewers of The Voice Australia as she made her coaching debut on the Channel Seven show.

She’s set to go on tour next year around Australia, with her Boss Lady tour.

‘I’m calling all you boss mob to join me for my Boss Lady Tour in 2022,’ she recently said as she announced the news.

She went on to say that she cannot wait to get onstage with her band once ‘it is safe’ to do so’ amid the pandemic.

Jess added: ‘2022 could not come soon enough!! Australia, I’m so excited to come dance with you all when it’s safe to do so.’

Jess will begin her leg of the tour in Canberra on March 22, before making her way to Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane and her hometown of Perth.

She’ll also treat fans in Adelaide and Melbourne, before finishing off the tour on The Gold Coast.
