Joshua Jackson melted hearts with his latest social media post in which he made a rare comment about his daughter.
The actor, 46, who shares four-year-old Juno with ex Jodie Turner-Smith, 37, shared a sweet story about how the two spent part of their day on Monday.
The Dawson’s Creek alum posted a photo of his face with sweat running down his cheeks while wearing a colorful beaded necklace.
‘Actually I wanted to share the story of that photo,’ the Critics Choice Award nominee wrote, explaining that he had invited his daughter to do some yard work with him.
‘So after picking out a new outfit and doing a full change from inside clothes to outside clothes we were just about to step outside when she said, “Daddy, I think inside play is what I need right now.” Which is… well, parents, we’ve all been there.’

‘So I leave her with her granny and go do my dad therapy in the yard and when I come back in, she presents me with this necklace.
‘And tells me, “Dada I wanted to stay inside so I could make you a necklace.”‘
The proud papa asked the little one to take a picture of him and ‘while she was snapping the photos she says, “it’s good for you to have a photo so you can always remember that I love you.”
‘So this is the exact moment my heart was melted by this amazing little big girl for the bajilionth time,’ he said.
The doting dad then offered some fatherly advice to the tyke.
‘Little one, if you see this when you are old enough to read-get off Instagram immediately. And also, I know. And I love you too. And I am so thankful that I get to be your dada.’
Jackson noted he did eventually get Juno to join him outside and shared the ‘fruits’ of their ‘labor,’ revealing a big bowl of tomatoes, nectarines, peaches and lemons.
‘Beautiful post. Blessed man,’ wrote director Ava DuVernay.
‘This is the most authentic thing I’ve seen/read in quite some time,’ wrote a fan.

Jackson joked the heartwarming post was a break from ‘all the Dr. Odyssey prettiness.’ He has been heavily promoting his new drama Dr. Odyssey, co-starring Don Johnson and Phillipa Soo.
The star takes on the role of the title character, an on-board doctor for a luxury cruise ship, in which he encounters all kinds of medical emergencies on the high seas.
The show debuts on ABC September 26.
