Julian Nagelsmann announced as new Germany head coach with the former Bayern Munich boss succeeding Hansi Flick as Die Mannschaft look to undo poor recent form ahead of Euro 2024

  • Julian Nagelsmann has been confirmed as the new Germany manager  

The German football association have today announced that former Bayern Munich manager, Julian Nagelsmann will succeed Hansi Flick as the new manager of the senior men’s national side. 

On Friday, the 36-year-old put pen to paper on a deal that will keep him in charge until July 31, 2024 – which will see him take charge of the German side for the European Championships, which are set to finish on July 14, 2024. 

It comes after Hansi Flick was sacked as the German National side’s head coach following a 4-1 drubbing by Japan, to finish up his tenure as the side’s head coach winning just four of his 17 games in charge.
