Jurassic lark! TikToker uses warp filter to transform himself into dinosaurs

An inventive man has transformed himself into different types of dinosaurs using only his body and very rudimentary editing.

Felix Gabler, a 22-year-old student from Tübingen, Germany, shared the humorous video of him warping into dinosaurs using a stop motion photography-style filter on TikTok.

The TikTok warp scan feature sees a bar move across the screen as a snap is taken, enabling users to change positions with often amusing results.

Many TikTok users have been getting creative – using the filter to appear to grow extra limbs or warp their face.

But Mr Gabler upped the game by using it to transform himself into two prehistoric dinosaurs.

Recording the pair of hilarious videos in his home Mr Gabler warped his body to resemble a rather plump T-Rex and a long-necked, leaf-eating Brachiosaurus.

Mr Gabler said: ‘It was literally just me and my friend goofing around and coming up with ways to make the T-Rex more realistic.’

He quickly moves his leg back into place and shuffles forward to give the appearance of a wider body

In one of the videos, Mr Gabler is seen crouching on all fours to emulate the short legs of a Brachiosaurus.

He then quickly stands when the moving bar reaches his head, giving the appearance of a long neck.

In a second video, he holds his leg out behind him to create the illusion of a tail as he transforms into a T-Rex.
