The Kansas City Chiefs were not the only ones winning at Frankfurt Stadium on Sunday as one fan successfully proposed to his girlfriend during the game.

A Kansas City fan decided the Chiefs-Dolphins in Germany was the ideal setting to propose to his girlfriend. The moment was captured and posted by the NFL on X (formerly Twitter).

The fan had one knee on the turf and both hands on the ring in front of the 42,000-plus crowd. Moved to tears, his girlfriend enthusiastically nodded and said ‘yes’.

But in a hilarious turn of events, the fan got up and celebrated by hugging the Chiefs’ wolf mascot rather than putting the ring on his fiancee. The bride-to-be stood crying in joy as the crowd cheered and ‘Marry You’ by Bruno Mars played through the sound system.

‘We have a Frankfurt proposal!’ the NFL captioned.
