Kanye West is still building domed houses on his Wyoming ranch amid his Twitter tirades

Kanye West’s Wyoming ranch was aflutter with activity as construction continued Wednesday on his pet project of affordable-living domes.

Photos of Monster Lake Ranch, located near Cody, Wyoming, show the domes in various states of construction.

The 43-year-old rapper has been sequestered at his Western home in recent days while launching Twitter tirades against his wife Kim Kardashian, who said in a statement on Tuesday that her husband was suffering from bipolar disorder.

Construction workers could be seen atop the largest building, which was the least completed of the four.

The unfinished exteriors made the domes translucent, revealing the wooden structure.

Kanye had previously constructed prototypes of the affordable-housing domes near his home in Calabasas, California, but he was forced to tear them down in September of last year after failing to get a permit for their construction.

At the time, it was reported that crews had been working during weekends when they were supposed to hold off on construction, leading to multiple noise complaints from neighbors.

Forbes reported that the homes, which had concrete foundations and were sunken into the ground, were inspired by the rounded huts on Luke Skywalker’s home planet of Tatooine, as immortalized in the original Star Wars.

Kanye suggested in the same profile that the deceptively large buildings might be used to house homeless people in the future.

Other photos from his ranch indicated that large pits had been dug out of the dry earth.

One wide yet shallow pit had been excavated next to the domes, while an even deeper hole had been dug from a mount of dirt next to Kanye’s garage.

The property was also dotted with earth-moving vehicles and motorhomes as work continued.

The images also revealed oddities about the property, including a white tipi located near the shore of the lake abutting the property.

The My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy rapper had a decorative circle of stones, possibly for bonfires, laid out near the shore and the tipi.

Pictures taken further from the property showed a massive earth wall being built running parallel to the road connecting Kanye’s ranch to the outside world.

Kanye has been hunkered down at his ranch (one of two he owns near Cody) in recent days, even as he has left many fans and friends concerned about his mental state.

He raised eyebrows on Sunday with a rally in South Carolina in which he claimed his wife Kim considered aborting their seven-year-old daughter North, before bursting into tears.

During the event, Kanye said, ‘Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had them work for other white people,’ which elicited groans from the audience.

By Tuesday, the Monster rapper was claiming he had been ‘trying to get divorced’ from his wife Kim Kardashian follower her meet-up with fellow rapper Meek Mill at the Waldorf Hotel.

The couple married in 2014 and share four children: North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and Psalm, one.

It was reported in recent weeks that the two had staked out spaces on opposite sides of their home, before Kanye moved out to their Wyoming ranch.

‘Since lockdown they’ve had daily bust-ups over literally everything. But mainly about the kids, their future, and the different directions they’re going in,’ a source told the Sun.

‘They’ve barely had a functioning marriage for the last year and Kim has been finding living with him too difficult.

‘He’s very demanding and always obsessed with one of his schemes — she’s exhausted. They live totally separate lives now.’

Sources for People and UsWeekly have both said on Wednesday she has been thinking about divorcing the rapper.

‘There has been enough communication, both in the past few days and in the weeks prior, to establish that both sides feel the marriage is over,’ a source told People.

The source added that Kanye is ‘paranoid and convinced’ he needs protection from Kim and her mother Kris Jenner.

After tweets from Kanye accusing Kim of trying to have him committed for his mental health flare-up, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star posted a statement to Instagram about her husband’s bipolar disorder.

‘Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behavior know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor. People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try,’ she wrote.

The statement tried to explain the rapper’s recent actions and concluded with a defense of his talents.

‘Living with bi-polar disorder does not diminish or invalidate his dreams and his creative ideas, no matter how big or unobtainable they may feel to some,’ she wrote. ‘That is part of his genius and as we have all witnessed, many of his big dreams have come true.’
