Kate Ferdinand says she can’t stop ‘crying’ as she opens up about the ‘beautiful bond’ she shares with step-daughter Tia, 12

Kate Ferdinand gushed over the ‘beautiful bond’ she has created with step-daughter Tia on Instagram on Tuesday. 

The television personality, 32, shared a sweet video of the pair holding hands while running along the beach as she said she ‘couldn’t imagine life’ without her.

Kate looked incredible in a black bikini which she teamed with a matching skirt while Tia, 12, donned a red two-piece with a white mini beach skirt. 

Kate who welcomed her daughter Shae last July, and also shares three-year-old son Cree with husband Rio is also a stepmother to the former England footballer’s children Lorenz, 17, Tate, 15, and Tia. 

Rio’s late wife Rebecca Ellison sadly passed away from breast cancer in 2015.

Alongside the video, Kate penned: ‘It can be tough coming in as a step mum to a young girl that has lost her mum but over the years, the ups & downs, the judgements from others, the beautiful and the confusing moments a beautiful bond has been created.

‘It’s a privilege to step in and look after you as a mother would. We drive each other crazy at times but we also couldn’t imagine life without each other.

‘As long as we get us, no one else needs to. This is an extra special love & it really is unconditional.’

Taking to the comments of her video, Kate admitted: ‘I keep watching this and crying’.

The family have been enjoying a luxurious stay at the Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort, which boasts seven restaurants, three outdoor pools and a luxurious spa. 

Kate also shared a slew of social media snaps from her lavish family getaway in Abu Dhabi and looked sensational in a blue bikini. 

The former TOWIE star flaunted her jaw-dropping figure in a tiny blue two-piece and accessorised with a fedora and oversized sunglasses during a trip to the beach.

In one sweet snap, Kate was all smiles as she held her daughter Shae, nine months, Cree.

While another image showed Kate and her husband Rio Ferdinand dressed up for a night in the UAE.

Alongside the holiday photo dump, Kate wrote on Instagram: ‘The best time #inabudhabi @visitabudhabi’

It comes after Kate revealed whether her and Rio were planning to expand their family further.

Kate did a Q and A on Instagram last month where she was asked about if they were planning on adding to their blended family.

When asked: ‘Do you want anymore children?’ Kate replied: ‘The shop is shut. Five is more than enough for us’.
