‘A Bachelorette should be desirable!’ Keira Maguire takes a brutal swipe at Angie Kent – before saying that new Bachelor Matt Agnew ‘looks boring’
Former Bachelor star Keira Maguire has delivered a withering assessment of Australia’s new Bachelorette, Angie Kent.
On Tuesday’s episode of her podcast The Buzz, the 32-year-old suggested that the former Gogglebox star, 29, doesn’t deserve the role.
‘I just don’t know if she’s worthy of being The Bachelorette,’ Keira told co-hosts Mikkayla Mossop and Joey Carroll.

Keira added: ‘[Angie is] a boy’s girl. I can tell her character, she’s the kind of girl that you would want to be mates with if you were a guy.
‘She probably wont end up with anyone. And if they do, they’ll probably end up as just friends.’
‘I honestly think that a girl that should be The Bachelorette should be desirable,’ concluded the Bachelor 2016 star.

Keira added that she wasn’t a fan of Angie due to comments she’d made about her in the past on Gogglebox.
‘[Angie’s] opinions of me haven’t been very nice,’ she said. ‘I just remember I don’t like her and I don’t remember the reason. Just a few things she said about me…’
Despite her negative assessment, Keira joked that ‘anything will be better’ than last year’s Bachelorette Ali Oetjen.

Keira also criticised the new Bachelor: 31-year-old astrophysicist Matt Agnew.
‘He seems boring’, she said, before joking that none of the contestants would want to move to his hometown of Adelaide.
‘Who wants to live in Adelaide? People are trying to get out of there!’ she said.
Matt does not actually live in Adelaide anymore. He resides in Melbourne, where he works as a researcher at Swinburne University of Technology.
