White House counselor Kellyanne Conway took shots at the unnamed ‘leaker’ who revealed details surrounding a call made between President Donald Trump and Ukranian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.

Conway appeared on Fox’s ‘The Story’ on Thursday when she declared that she hoped the whistle-blower was watching the segment.

‘The whistle-blower is someone who does not have first-hand knowledge of what happened,’ she said. Conway added that the whistle-blower was ‘more blowhard than whistle-blower.’

She continued: ‘I don’t consider them to be spies, but anybody who leaks conversations that are classified or are of national security sensitivity ought not to be working in the government — whoever you are — and I hope you’re watching, whoever you are.’

The counselor claimed that the anonymous person took advantage of the ‘public’s trust.’

‘You had the public’s trust and you have been a public servant entrusted with top-secret and confidential information.’

Conway further asserted that there was nothing incriminating in the conversation had between the two leaders.

The whistle-blower whose complaint about President Trump’s effort to press Ukraine into investigating Joe Biden jump-started impeachment efforts has been revealed to be a CIA officer who has been detailed to the White House.

The agent, identified as a man, has returned to working at the CIA, the New York Times reported.

The paper included an explanation from its executive editor about why it published the information. The whistle-blower’s lawyer, Andrew Bakaj, called it ‘deeply concerning and reckless, as it can place the individual in harm’s way’ and declared his client’s right to remain anonymous.

Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire said during House testimony Thursday that he would protect the whistle-blower from any reprisals, and said his decision to come forward through channels was the ‘right thing to do.’
