Kerry Katona’s ex husband George Kay has died at the age of 39 following a suspected drug overdose.
George, who had a long history of drug abuse, was reportedly pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital on Friday.
Kerry’s former partner is father to her youngest daughter Dylan-Jorge, five, and the mother-of-five is ‘heartbroken’ over his death, reports the Mirror.

A source told to Kerry told the publication: ‘Kerry was told this afternoon that George suffered an overdose and was taken to hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.’
‘No one yet knows what he overdosed on or whether it was intentional or an accident.
‘Kerry is heartbroken, he’s DJ’s dad and she loved him once. She can’t bear the thought of explaining to her daughter what has happened.’
