Kristen Bell has been praised for an apology note she left for her daughters after ‘losing her temper.’ 

The actress, 44, who shares Lincoln, 12, and Delta, 10, with her husband Dax Shepard, 50, wrote their children a sweet message, which Dax shared. 

Giving a candid insight into their family life, Dax uploaded a photo of the note to his Instagram Story and captioned: ‘This is way hotter than her singing or acting.’

Kristen’s message read: ‘Dear Girls, I lost my temper last night — twice — and I owe you both an apology. I love you so very much and I’m sorry. Xoxo Mom 

‘P.S the dog has been fed!.’

One person commented: ‘I love when parents know they’re wrong and hold themselves accountable to apologizing to their children.’ 

Others added: ‘I can attest to the power of this! It is something I feel like I got “right” as a parent – I apologized when I messed up. 

‘As a result, my kids started apologizing to me when they messed up without being told to do so. We are all just flawed humans out here.

‘This is doing it the right way. I have been learning from my daughter. Listen to your kid! They teach us to be better’; ‘100% active parenting’; 

‘Yes! The goal is not to never make mistakes. The goal is to show accountability and be humble’;

Kristen and Dax, who have been dating since 2007, became engaged in 2010 and tied the knot in October 2013. 

The actress recently revealed one of her daughters gave her a shockingly vulgar  card to celebrate Mother’s Day on Sunday.

The Good Place star marked the holiday by posted a photo to Instagram of the lovingly hand-drawn and written card that one of her daughters — either Lincoln or Delta — had made for her.

But the card got off to a shaky start when they wrote in big block letters, ‘Happy fathers Day Mom,’ as if she meant to celebrate Dax instead and changed her mind halfway through.

The note inside the card took another humorous turn with a sweet but foul-mouthed message to the Veronica Mars star.

‘Mom, I love you so much! To the moon and back!’ her daughter wrote. ‘Happy mothers day you creative and considerate b****!’
