Kyle Richards’ husband is helping Teddi Mellencamp sell her $5.995 million Hollywood Hills mansion

Kyle Richards was spotted taking extra precautions amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic on Thursday.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, 51, was spotted wearing a face mask and spraying sanitizer on her hands before entering a clothing store in Sherman Oaks, where she indulged in some retail therapy.

The outing comes amid news that Richards’ husband Mauricio Umansky and daughter Farrah Aldjufrie will serve as agents for the sale of Kyle’s fellow RHOBH star Teddi Mellencamp’s Hollywood Hills mansion.

The 39-year-old reality TV star is listing the home for $5.995 million after purchasing the property in 2018 for $4.07M.

The house, which formerly belonged to Hollywood producer Meghan Ellison, boasts two balconies with an infinity-edge swimming pool and a spa.

The 5 bedroom, 5,5 bathroom mansion also features an open-concept living and family room, a center-island kitchen, a gym and an office.

Meanwhile, Mellencamp has purchased a luxurious new home in Encino, California for $6.49M.

The home is still in escrow, but Teddi, 39, was already excitedly showing it off to her Instagram followers on Sunday.

The 8,550 square feet home, which is currently listed with Mauricio Umansky’s company The Agency, boasts seven bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a home theater, basketball court, and so much more.

Right from the entry way, guests will be blown away by the home’s sheer space, with the property featuring massive windows and an overall airy vibe. 

The home’s many amenities include a massive wine cellar, a bar just across the hall, a spacious kitchen, and plenty of rooms for entertainment.

Perhaps most breathtaking of all is the home’s sublime kitchen.

The reality star and her husband Edwin Arroyave eagerly unveiled their new home to their children and Instagram followers on Sunday. 

As they drove to their sprawling new property, which they recently entered escrow on, the reality star couldn’t contain her excitement. 

‘Okay, Bella, are you ready to see the new house we’re in escrow on? Who’s ready?’ the RHOBH cast member asked her eldest two kids and step daughter in a video on her Instagram Story.

In response, Arroyave’s little girl, 10, from a previous relationship smiled brightly at the camera, as the pair’s children Slate, 7, and Cruz, 5, cheered from the backseat. 

Mellencamp and Arroyave’s 5-month-old daughter Dove, who recently underwent neurosurgery, did not appear to be in attendance.  

Upon entering the property, her fans were given a glimpse of the airy living room, before exiting to see the incredible pool, waterfall, outdoor basketball court and expansive home theater.

As they toured around, the television personality asked the kids what they thought, but they were too preoccupied racing around different rooms to respond.

Upon reaching the kitchen, Teddi joked, ‘Maybe I’ll become a master chef, once this is our kitchen!’ 

‘Or maybe not,’ she quipped, before showing off her future bedroom, which also included a living room area and porch.

Later, her RHOBH co-star Kyle Richards joined the tour, and like Mellencamp and her family, wore a CDC-recommended face mask. 

The family’s good news comes after a difficult few months with her youngest battling a rare Lambdoid Craniosynostosis condition.

Craniosynostosis is a rare skull problem that causes a baby to be born with, or develop, an abnormally shaped head. 

Before her baby girl’s neurosurgery at the end of July, she gave fans an update on her Teddi’s Tea Pod podcast. 

‘We both have our faith and we know that it’s gonna be okay, but it’s a struggle right now,’ the daughter of John Mellencamp explained.

‘They’re saying her face is gonna be really swollen after the surgery and she’s not gonna know what happened. So it’s definitely one of those trying times, where you’re just one foot in front of the other,’ she said.  

Mellencamp Arroyave learned of her daughter’s condition during a visit to her pediatrician. 

While the doctor initially though the problem could be corrected with a DOC Band, they advised seeking a second opinion first.

The doctor was like, ‘Yeah, we’re definitely leaning in the direction of needing the DOC Band. But before you go to those specialists, I want you to go to this neurosurgeon, just so he can have a look.’

Teddi explained to followers last month that her four-month-old has been diagnosed with Lambdoid Craniosynostosis.

‘Dealing with anxiety, especially when in the “public eye,” isn’t easy; and going into July it’s at an all-time high.’ Teddi told her nearly one million followers.
