Kyle Sandilands, 52, leaves fans in shock with pregnancy announcement

Kyle Sandilands surprised his radio co-star Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and co-workers on Monday when he announced one of their top producers Jaimee ‘Mayo’ Hassos is pregnant live on-air. 

Hassos was stunned when Kyle let slip she is expecting her first child with her husband Sebastian Blazquez.

Kyle, Jackie O and several other staff members are broadcasting their hit KIIS FM show from the South of France as the shock jock enjoys his honeymoon with wife Tegan Kynaston. 

‘Mayo’s pregnant,’ Kyle said after announcing he had ‘big show news’. 

Jackie scolded her co-host, saying she should have given Mayo some warning before revealing the news.

‘Yeah, that gave me a bit of a shock,’ Mayo said. 

Kyle joked he thought Mayo was just ‘stacking on the kilos’, but instead there’s a ‘baby in there’. 

Jackie added: ‘Can you believe it. Do you know how happy I am for her?’ 

Mayo said her baby is due during the survey break and her parents ‘cried’ when she told them the happy news after they were worried she was taking ‘too long’ to get pregnant.

Jaimee married Sebastian, her first and only boyfriend, in May 2019. 

She went on to say Kyle has been ‘thoughtful’ towards her since finding out she was pregnant. 

Fans would have been forgiven for thinking it was Kyle announcing a pregnancy after the birth of son, Otto, with Tegan. 

Kyle and Tegan welcomed their first child Otto in August last year and Kyle has been besotted with fatherhood.
