Lenny Kravitz, 59, showcases very impressive physique as he goes shirtless in social media snap… after daughter Zoe roasted him at his Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony

Lenny Kravitz likes to go shirtless, of that there is no doubt, and when he has to wear a shirt, he makes it sheer.

On Friday, the Let Love Rule singer, 59, put on a pair of very well-fitting, low-rise, artfully ripped jeans and a pair of sunglasses and headed out into nature.

Lenny – who received a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame this week – stood shirtless and shoeless surrounded by bales of sod with a mature tree dominating the background.

His dreadlocks hung down his back as he turned his face up toward the sun.

The Fly Away hitmaker captioned the post: ‘Standing in love and gratitude.’

The Shotgun Wedding star was honored with a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame this week.

During the ceremony, his daughter Zoë Kravitz, 35, gave a speech and couldn’t resist teasing him.

‘Lenny Kravitz, I’ve had the pleasure of knowing you for a long time, and I must say, being your daughter has been one of the great adventures of my life,’ Zoë began.

‘Since you were so young when I was born, in many ways, we’ve grown up together,’ she said.

The Are You Gonna Go My Way singer was only 24-years-old when he and then-wife Lisa Bonet welcomed their daughter in 1988.

‘We’ve been through a lot. We’ve seen a lot. I’ve seen a lot,’ she continued.

‘I’ve seen you change in the most beautiful ways. I’ve seen the way you’ve stayed the same in the most important ways. I’ve seen the way you show up and take care of the people you love. I’ve seen your incredible dedication to your art,’ she said, before joking, ‘But mostly, I’ve seen through your shirts.’

Lenny and the assembled guests of the event – including friend Denzel Washington, 69 – laughed when Zoë said that and noted that Lenny was wearing a sheer black shirt at that very moment.

Zoë added: ‘You two make each other better, and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. It’s a beautiful thing.’

‘What’s cool about you is not what people think is cool about you,’ she said.

‘Your radness doesn’t come from your shades or leather pants or netted shirts; it comes from your true love of life. Everything you do is an expression of that love,’ she gushed.
