Lily Collins took to Instagram on Monday to congratulate her younger brother Nic Collins on his band The Effect’s first show.
The 34-year-old Emily In Paris star — who celebrated her husband Charlie McDowell’s birthday last month — shared photos embracing her sibling, 22, along with a heartfelt caption.
The actress wrote, ‘Proud big sis moment. Congrats @nic_collins and @theeffectband on your debut show!’
She added, ‘Nothing made me happier than to be able to cheer you on from the audience. This is just the beginning of another incredible journey for you.’
The star also shouted out the band’s merchandise, and she finished the note, ‘Ps – I appreciate the quality swag, super comfortable and super cool…’

The snapshots featured Lily and her brother at North Hollywood’s Knitting Factory venue in the valley of Los Angeles.
She wore a plaid navy blue shirt with light-colored splotches and the band’s logo on the back.
The brother-sister duo smiled in the photos as they shared a tight hug.
Lily wore her brunette tresses straight, styled in a middle part with long bangs framing her face.
Nic was dressed in a distressed black crew neck T-shirt and faded charcoal-colored jeans.
He joined in the comments to write, ‘Thank you so much!! So awesome having you there. love you!’
And Lily’s husband of two years also showed support as he dropped a string of fire emoji in the comments section.

Musical talent seems to run in the family, as Nic and Lily are the children of renowned musician Phil Collins, 72.
One of his biggest hits is the 1981 tune In The Air Tonight, from his album Face Value.
In addition to Lily and Nic, he is also father to Joely Collins, 51, Simon Collins, 47, and Matthew Collins, 18.
The kids have mostly taken up careers in the arts, like their father, though Matthew is forging his own path as a soccer star.
