Liverpool have confirmed the departure of 10 players after revealing their retained list ahead of the 2024-25 season. 

The upcoming campaign will be one of change for the Merseyside giants as Arne Slot takes up the role of first-team coach after the departure of Jurgen Klopp.

And, along with the off-field staff, there will be plenty of changes on the pitch as well as the club confirmed the exits of a number of players – most from the academy. 

Earlier this month, the Reds confirmed the news that first-team stars Thiago and Joel Matip would be departing upon the expiry of the contract.

Now, the Merseyside giants have revealed eight more names that will join them – including one youngster dubbed the ‘Polish Messi’.

Along with the aforementioned duo, Adam Lewis, Melkamu Frauendorf, Mateusz Musialowski, Nathan Giblin, Francis Gyimah, Luke Hewitson, Niall Osborne and Cody Pennington will all leave the club.

As well as a number of notable departures, the club confirmed that first-team goalkeeper Adrian has been offered a new deal as well as academy keepers Jacob Poytress and Reece Trueman.
