Louise Redknapp is said to be fearful that her 20-year marriage to estranged husband Jamie is beyond salvaging as she ‘prepares to reunite’ with the retired footballer.
The singer, 43, confirmed that she was living apart from former Liverpool and England midfielder Jamie, with whom she shares three children, months after kick-starting her career with a successful run of appearances on BBC show Strictly Come Dancing.
But Louise is thought to be worried that he has moved on following their split as she reportedly looks to build bridges and recouple with her husband, 44 – who was seen without his wedding ring on Monday morning, in pictures obtained by The Sun.

A source told Now: ‘Louise wanted a break from normality, to have some fun and put herself out there again. But fears are creeping in and she’s not sure whether she’ll have a husband to go back to.
‘She and Jamie love each other, there’s no denying that, but Louise has hurt him. She knows there are lots of other women out there just waiting for the split to become official.’
Sources previously claimed she was spending time at the family home in Surrey so the pair can juggle parenthood with their work schedules – but wants a home in London to enjoy some space and be closer to Daisy Lowe, 28, with whom she developed a strong friendship on Strictly.

‘Louise says that, with space, she hopes they can start talking about their future,’ and insider told heat. ‘She still loves Jamie and hopes to ‘consciously re-couple’, but, at the moment, is saying she wants her freedom and identity back.
‘For now, she wants to split her time between their home in Surrey – so they can spend key times together as a family – and a place of her own in London.
‘Jamie has told friends that they come and go and take it in turns with the boys – and that’s down to their work schedules, not because of a divorce.’

The news comes after Jamie was spotted without his wedding ring at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday morning.
The former sportsman’s wedding band was nowhere in sight as he made his way across the terminal with his luggage after returning from a lad’s golfing trip.
