Love Island’s Ekin Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti confirm they are back together as they cosy up after celebrating her 29th birthday

Ekin Su Culculoglu and Davide Sanclimenti have confirmed that they are back together with a cosy selfie during a romantic holiday on Wednesday.  

The Love Island stars, who found fame by winning the ITV2 dating show together last summer, announced they had split in June following an 11-month relationship.

Ekin-Su, 29, and Davide, 28, later sparked speculation they were back on after being pictured leaving the ITV Summer Party together in July.

After jetting off on a romantic getaway to Ekin-Su’s native Turkey this week, the couple celebrated her birthday together, confirming their reconciliation. 

Sharing a sweet video to Instagram, Davide wrapped his arm around his girlfriend during a day out at the beach and joked: ‘I found someone I think I know.’

On Monday, Davide treated Ekin-Su to a lavish birthday meal and shared a stunning snap of her posing with a cake. 

Ekin-Su looked incredible in a busty red dress in the snaps as she posed at the dinner table after flying out to her native Turkey to celebrate with Davide.

In the Instagram caption, Davide wrote: ‘Despite all the storms, I wanted to make this day special for you… Enjoy the moment, make a wish and blow hard. Happy birthday @ekinsuofficial.’

Ekin-Su shared the same post on her own Instagram account, penning: ‘Surprising me like always, thank you for a good birthday’ 

The actress and Davide had a bumpy ride in the villa but won the nation’s hearts with their romance.

The pair went on to get their own TV show, where they travelled to their hometowns in Italy and Turkey to meet each other’s families, moving in together in August 2022. 

However, the couple then announced that they had split in June, following an 11-month romance.

Davide took to Instagram to share the sad news with his followers, just days after the couple attended the premiere of Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny together.

He wrote: ‘Ekin-Su and I are no longer together. I am grateful for the memories and opportunities we shared together and I wish her nothing but the best.

‘I would like for everybody to respect this decision during this difficult time. I will continue to support Ekin in anyway possible.’

After jetting on separate holidays to Turkey and Ibiza, the former couple have a number of awkward run-ins, last month at the Barbie premiere before both receiving invites to the ITV bash.

But far from giving each other the cold shoulder, Davide was seen as he sneakily hopped into the taxi with Ekin-Su.

The former couple were repeatedly rocked by rumours that Davide was unfaithful, but Ekin-Su stood by him until the bitter end when he allegedly ‘blindsided’ her by announcing their break-up on social media.
