M25 traffic chaos after 10-vehicle pile-up involving lorry and horse box

Traffic is in chaos on the M25 after a crash involving a lorry and a horse box caused delays on London’s ring road. 

Highways England said the clockwise road was blocked between junctions 14 and 15, near West Drayton, Hillingdon, although it has since been cleared. 

The London Ambulance Service said one person was being treated at the scene, the Mirror Online reported. 

The crash was said to involve ten vehicles including a lorry and a horse box, between junctions 14 and 15.  

Pictures showed congestion on another warm day in the UK with frustrated drivers waiting in long queues. 

Highways England said: ‘All lanes are clear on the M25 clockwise between J14 and J15 near West Drayton following a collision involving multiple vehicles. 

‘Vehicles moved to the hard shoulder. Thanks for your patience.’
