Married At First Sight’s clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla has revealed the truth behind the show’s secretive casting process

The expert appeared on HIT WA’s Breakfast with Allan and Carly on Wednesday, and shared the steps of the controversial process. 

‘I don’t do the casting … I get to interview the possible candidates, even before they’re officially cast, I do pre-interviews,’ Alessandra said.

‘Once they’re actually cast, that’s when we (the experts) look at who the participants are going to be, then we do the matchmaking.’

Alessandra went on to say she trusts that people are ‘telling the truth’ during interviews for the show. 

She then weighed in on Olivia going on OnlyFans saying ‘good for her’.  

The Nine star is nominated for a Most Popular New Talent Logie this week after appearing on the show for just one season.

Married At First Sight has already started casting for its new season to air next year. 

Nine issued a casting call in February for the upcoming tenth season. 

It began: ‘Are you looking for love? If you’re searching for The One and are ready to settle down, Australia’s biggest social experiment could find your soulmate.’

‘Married At First Sight is searching for men and women of all ages and backgrounds who are genuinely committed to finding love,’ the notice continued.

According to the casting call, the show will be filming between early July and November 2022.
