‘I didn’t know if it was sexual or not!’ Married At First Sight’s Jessika Power and Nic Jovanovic reveal the truth behind THAT leg rub under the table
MAFS Cyrell Paule, 29, violently attacked co-star Martha Kalifatidis during Tuesday’s episode over a rumour her ‘husband’ Nic Jovanovic touched Jessika Power’s leg.
Now, Married At First Sight stars, Nic and Jessika, 26, have revealed the truth behind the now infamous leg rub, which took place under the table at the most recent dinner party.
Speaking to Now To Love on Tuesday evening, Jess said Nic ‘rubbed her leg with his leg’ and also admitted she was unsure if the move was ‘sexual or not’ because the pair had previously engaged in ‘flirtatious’ behaviour.

‘Nic rubbed my leg under the table with his leg. I told Ines and Martha at the time because I didn’t know if it was sexual or not. There had been some sort of flirtation going on with Nic and I, but I always passed it off as quite childish,’ Jess revealed.
Jessika explained she was feeling particularly vulnerable that evening as she claimed her ‘husband’ Mick Gould was chatting with ‘every other female but her.’
However Jessika insists the co-stars are just friends in spite of their connection and long-list of similarities.
Nic also shut down the romance rumours and said he only touched Jess’ leg in an attempt to raise her spirits amid her relationship woes.

‘I was trying to grab Jess’ attention to see if she was OK. She was down in the dumps about her relationship and it all escalated from there,’ he explained to the publication.
Nic explained the gesture was purely platonic and maintained he was ‘committed’ to Cyrell.
‘It wasn’t sexual. It was a little leg touch, it was me reaching out with my foot. Jess is a bit of a flirt in general, that’s her personality. But there was no malice in it. I was committed to Cyrell,’ Nic said.

However Nic and Jess’ romance rumour sparked one of the most explosive scenes ever to air on MAFS.
On Tuesday night’s episode, Cyrell put the blow-torch on Martha after she heard Martha had discussed Nic’s gesture towards Jess.
Producers were forced to step in and drag Cyrell from Martha, 30, but found themselves in the firing line as she then threw a large ceramic fruit bowl at them.
A furious Cyrell then packed her bags and fled the show while telling her ‘husband’ Nic to ‘get the f*** away from me’.
The fight occurred after Cyrell found out Martha had asked Nic about a rumour that he’d touched Jessika’s leg at the last dinner party.
