‘The struggle is real… for the entitled’: Aussies slam Married At First Sight star Jessika Power after she whinged about ‘inhumane’ hotel quarantine
Jessika Power has been admonished online for complaining about the so-called ‘inhumane conditions’ of her hotel quarantine suite.
The Married At First Sight star, 28, raised eyebrows on Friday when she complained on Instagram about her room’s lack of ‘air flow’, just hours after entering mandatory hotel quarantine in Western Australia.
Critics have since branded her behaviour ‘entitled’ and embarrassingly tone deaf.

‘The struggle is real for the entitled,’ one person commented on Facebook.
‘I’m sure our homeless / less fortunate Australians would love to live in hotel quarantine!’ another added.
Some critics reminded Jessika that the purpose of hotel quarantine was to protect her from a fate much worse than a mere ‘lack of air flow’.

However, Jessika did receive some sympathy from online fans.
‘I absolutely agree. Let’s not even go there. As to the exorbitant amount you pay to be locked in a room for 2 weeks without fresh air or exercise $3,000 and counting, it is inhumane!!!!!’ one commented.

Another fan described Jessika’s experience as ‘torture’, while someone else claimed they’d have suffered a ‘complete mental health breakdown’ if the were forced to endure the same hotel conditions.
On Friday, Jessika Power announced she was quarantining in a Perth hotel after flying into her home state of Western Australia from Queensland.
But hours later, it appears the reality star’s mood had descended as she complained the conditions were ‘inhumane’.

Posting to her Instagram stories, Jessika replied to a fan’s question and vented about the lack of air ventilation in her confined space.
‘You’re asking if there’s windows in the room – no there’s no airflow – there’s a window, but I can’t freakin’ open it,’ she said.
Jessika then went on to explain that she had no idea people who were in hotel quarantine were not allowed time outside.
