A man in his 20s is fighting for his life following a double-stabbing in Tower Hamlets, East London. 

Police were called to St Paul’s Way in Mile End at around 4.30pm today.

Officers along with London Ambulance Service found two men suffering from stab wounds.

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital, where his condition has been described as life-threatening.

A second victim, believed to be in his 20s or 30s, suffered ‘less serious’ injuries, but was also taken to hospital for treatment.

Scotland Yard has launched an investigation while officers remain at the scene.
