A road rage brawl on a Melbourne road took a violent turn after a driver pulled out a taser on a man in the middle of a busy street.

Dashcam footage shows two men getting out of a white Ford Falcon to confront the 50-year-old driver of a Mitsubishi on Flemington Road on Saturday afternoon.

The pair shout at the driver before returning to their car, but things escalate when he follows them back and kicks the side door of their car.

He can be seen jumping out of his car and appearing to flash a taser at one of the men, before throwing a few punches as the pair exchange blows.

He eventually gets back into his car and zooms away, narrowly avoiding the driver – who throws in a final kick at his car for good measure.

It is believed the two cars then caught up further up the road, Nine News reported, after zooming through a red light.
