Married At First Sight’s Lauren Dunn has finally opened up about her relationship with her husband Jonathan McCullough’s stepsister, Steph.
Fans of the show were left in suspense after recent episodes depicted Steph as being less than thrilled with Lauren’s antics.
Lauren, who married Jonathan, found herself at the center of controversy thanks to her unconventional behaviour and comments that didn’t sit well with Steph.
‘Lauren is definitely going to give him a run for his money,’ she said during her piece-to-camera interview. ‘She’s still at the point of wanting to go out and partying.
‘He knows what he’s here for and if it’s not right, he’ll walk away.’

Viewers were led to believe that Steph doubted Lauren’s compatibility with her stepbrother, questioning whether she was a suitable match for him.
However, in a candid interview with Daily Mail Australia, 32-year-old Lauren shed light on the situation, providing her side of the story.
‘The thing is with those comments, I know the conversations that Steph and I had. We got on, like we really did. I thought she was great,’ Lauren revealed.

Despite the harsh criticism she received on the show, Lauren expressed understanding towards Steph’s protective instincts.
‘I thought the comments were a little bit harsh, but to be fair, watching myself behave the way I did, you know, you would expect that from a protective sister,’ she admitted.
Lauren emphasised that, despite the portrayal on the show, she and Steph enjoyed each other’s company.
‘We did have a really fun time together,’ she added.

Jonathan disclosed that he had a discussion with Steph regarding her portrayal on the show.
Steph clarified her position, indicating that her reactions were misinterpreted.
‘I spoke to her last night, and she sort of was, ”That’s not what I said, I said this about this, I said that… I laughed at what Lauren said”, it was sort of, ”Yeah, we all know what it’s like,” … she’s okay, but she was slightly horrified about getting so much airtime ,’ Jonathan shared.
