EXCLUSIVE

Tamara Djordjevic insisted she ‘couldn’t be happier’ as she showed off the painful-looking aftermath of her rhinoplasty on Instagram on Thursday.

The former Married At First Sight bride, 31, jetted to Turkey this week to undergo a nosejob and posted photos of herself with bruised skin and bandages on her face.

Despite still recovering from the procedure, Tamara told Daily Mail Australia: ‘I’m over the moon with the results.

‘It’s something I always thought about doing and tossed up if I would.’

Tamara, known for her unfiltered approach, told her 117,000 Instagram followers, ‘I feel okay, just really swollen. The whole thing’s uncomfortable.’

‘I knew I’d bruise badly post-surgery. This is going to be bruised for a while.’

She emphasised that the full results of plastic surgeries often remain concealed for months or even a year, alluding to her expectations on the healing timeline.

‘It’ll take time for the swelling to reduce and the real shape to emerge,’ she added, echoing the patience often needed after such procedures.

While some fans may have jumped to conclusions about the decision, Tamara clarified the primary motivation behind the nose job wasn’t for aesthetic reasons.

‘I’ve never spoken about this on Instagram, but my initial thought about getting a nose job was because of a deviated septum and collapsed cartilage,’ she revealed.

The MAFS bride further explained her struggle with a skewed nose, recalling, ‘I think it’s from breaking my nose when I was younger. I always had to get it fixed for medical reasons.’

However, while on this medical journey, she chose to embrace the opportunity fully, deciding to also enhance the shape.

‘Why not change the shape and make it pretty?’ she mused.

The starlet shared the surgeon’s optimistic prognosis, concluding with a heartfelt insight into her daily struggles.

‘The surgeon said that in about three months, I should be able to breathe normally again,’ she said.

‘I can’t remember the last time I could sleep without having my mouth open.’

Tamara then tagged and thanked the clinic, Mono Cosmetic Surgery, and said that the procedure turned out exactly how she hoped, before sharing a bouquet of flowers sent to her hotel.
