Married At First Sight fan favourite Lucinda Light ‘set to become a millionaire’

Married at First Sight star Lucinda Light quickly became a fan favourite on the recent season of the popular reality show thanks to her ‘authenticity’ and ‘positivity’.

The Byron Bay native, 43, boasts 182,000 Instagram followers, close to 100,000 more than the other contestants.

During Sunday night’s commitment ceremony Lucinda and Timothy Smith, 51, called time on their relationship, but according to new reports the reality program won’t be the last we will see of the bride.

According to Yahoo Lifestyle, major podcast networks are currently competing to sign her exclusively for her own show post-experiment, while several voiceover agencies are also interested in signing her as an audiobook narrator.

The publication notes that ‘there is also talk of future TV work with the Nine Network – who have dubbed her as this year’s ‘breakout participant’.

‘As well as offers for her to release a book in the ‘personal development and spiritual journey’ space and an increased demand in booking her as an emcee and motivational speaker at events,’ the publication wrote.

An insider revealed the reason behind the bride’s widespread appeal and high demand.

‘Lucinda’s kind-heartedness and positive energy have resonated with viewers all around the world who see her as a breath of fresh air, compared to the clone of young, wannabe influencers we see every year becoming embroiled in drama,’ the insider told Yahoo Lifestyle.

‘She could make millions in the next couple of years with so much demand already,’ they added.

It comes after Lucinda recently shut down rumours that she had been offered an exciting new career path on Married At First Sight.

On Friday, rumours emerged that the 43-year-old wedding celebrant was tipped to join New Zealand’s version of the reality dating show as a relationship expert.

However, the fan favourite told Triple M WA’s Robbie Von that she won’t be taking on the gig for one main reason.

‘I’m not in one (relationship) successfully, so I just don’t feel like I belong on an expert couch there personally… I think even if the job was offered it would probably be a no from me,’ she said.
