Married At First Sight star Jade Pywell alarmed her fans on Friday by revealing she had been hospitalised as she underwent surgery.
The influencer, 26, and her MAFS husband Ridge Barredo, 27, shared a gallery of shock photos to Instagram which captured Jade in a gown at a local hospital.
One photo showed a tired looking Jade lying in a hospital bed shortly after the surgery and another captured her giving the peace sign to the camera, as she prepared for the procedure.
Ridge captioned the snap with some reassuring words: ‘She’s alive’.
Meanwhile, Jade shared a clip which showed Ridge being a doting boyfriend by delivering food to her shortly after the surgery was completed.
Although it is unknown was procedure Jade was getting, Ridge cheekily asked his followers to ‘guess the surgery’, suggesting it is nothing life-threatening.

Earlier this month, Jade and her on-screen husband Ridge Barredo opened up about their future together, and it seems that baby plans are on the horizon.

In an exclusive chat with Daily Mail Australia the couple, who recently celebrated their first anniversary, revealed plans to start a family.
When asked about their sex life, Ridge was quick to deflect.
‘She’s not pregnant yet, though, which is a bit annoying,’ he quipped.
When asked if the idea of having children together was something they’d discussed, Ridge explained Jade wanted to get married before having a child.
‘She said yes to the next person who I will get married to or engaged to,’ he revealed.
Daily Mail Australia revealed back in May that Ridge had quit his job as a psychiatric nurse in NSW and relocated to move in with his TV bride.
Days later, the MAFS intruder groom took to Instagram to officially share the news with his 111,000 followers as he posted a sweet video of himself and Jade.
