New Married At First Sight bride Melissa Sheppard walked down the aisle with groom Josh White on Sunday night. 

And the 41-year-old, who is a self proclaimed ‘freak in the sheets’, left her friends worried that her new husband won’t be able to keep up with her. 

The hairdresser from NSW and the 40-year-old Advertising Client Director, also from NSW, seemed like an odd match at first. 

Melissa insisted she wanted a ‘Thor’ or ‘Gladiator’ type man with ‘hair on his chest’ – but shy and sweet Josh doesn’t seem to fit the alpha male bill. 

The pair exchanged vows, with Melissa calling Josh ‘such a gentleman’ for the chaste peck he offered her. 

When it came time to kiss the bride, Melissa was all in, smooching Josh passionately and groping his bottom.

‘When he looked me in the eyes, all my reservations went out the window. I could tell instantly that he’s kind,’ she said of her new husband. 

‘His hair’s great. He smells nice. He’s taller than me. There’s this handsome, amazing man standing there who is everything that I’ve wanted. I think the experts have hit the jackpot here,’ she insisted. 

‘He is my Thor and Gladiator in one. He turned around and I was like, “Wow”. I was blown away.’

Josh was also impressed with Melissa, telling producers, ‘Everything about her was exactly what I was hoping for.’

However, Melissa’s group of friends present at the wedding were not so sure about the match. 

‘He’s not really the alpha male is he? She’s going to be the bubbly, bright person she is and he is not going to be able to handle her,’ one of them quipped. 

‘She’ll eat him alive. He might run away,’ another pal chimed in, laughing, with the women calling the groom ‘nerdy’.

‘If I could leave anything with all the women in the world, it’s to own your sexuality and embrace it,’ the mother-of-one said. 

‘Be bold, be brave and be you. We only attract the right people in our lives when we don’t hide parts of ourselves,’ she continued.   

‘I want to take the taboo away that you can’t talk about sex. I want people to get their voices and stand behind me, and not bring a woman down and shame her for talking about things that we do talk about. It’s okay to talk about sex,’ Melissa insists.
