Congresswoman Maxine Waters said Melania can’t trust her husband on Twitter Friday

Representative Maxine Waters tweeted on Friday that the first lady can’t trust her husband.

The California Democrat tweeted: ‘Democrats can’t trust Trump, Republicans can’t trust Trump, and Melania can’t trust Trump.’

It is not clear what Waters is referring to with Melania. As far as Democrats and Republicans, the president appeared to flip-flop on a couple of immigration policies last week.

Trump reportedly made a deal with top democrats regarding immigration where he agreed on stricter border control but no wall.

Trump tweeted there was no such deal after the AP report was published.

In regards to why Melania can not trust the president, this could have been a reference to the claims the first lady is not happy with the political direction their lives have taken, according to Vanity Fair.

This also may be a reminder of the slew of body langues clues from the first lady when she interacts with her husband of 12 years.

Waters also said democrats and republicans cannot trust the president, possibly referring to his apparent flip flopping on immigration

She has been pictured several times acting distant to the president. On Friday, he awkwardly ushered her off stage at Joint Air Base Andrews.

The president also weirdly his hand for a handshake before she could kiss him. The seemingly frosty and formal interaction caught the attention of critics.

In May, the first lady swatted away the president’s hand when he reached to hold it as they disembarked Air Force One.

At the inauguration in January, a video of Melania smiling then immediately looking somber when her husband turned around went viral.
