A group of men in a Jeep who viciously beat a driver through his window have been slammed after footage of the wild road rage attack was shared online.
The cars were driving along Patterson Road at East Rockingham, in Perth’s south, on Thursday when the Jeep cut in front of the Ford Focus.
Dash cam footage shows the Jeep pulling to the side of the road as the Ford Focus attempts to drive around.
A group of men in a Jeep stopped traffic in the middle of a busy highway and were caught beating a driver in front of horrified onlookers
Before the Ford has time to get away the driver of the Jeep and two passengers get out of the car and run to the driver’s window.
The three men are then seen hitting the driver of the Ford Focus as he remains in the car.
One of the men spits on the driver before moving to get back into the Jeep.
The Ford Focus attempts to drive around the Jeep but they cut the red car off and speed in front.
Footage was posted to Facebook with the caption: ‘Three guys jumped out and hit the guy in the red car. He was alright, just thought I should try and shame the d**kheads that went three on one on a bloke. ‘
The video quickly garnered lots of attention, with more than 2,000 reactions and 1,000 comments since it was posted on Saturday.

Hundreds of people took to the comments to blast the men in the Jeep for attacking the driver of the smaller car.
‘I hope the dash cam driver took this to the police as we don’t need people like this thinking it’s ok to do this,’ one user wrote.
‘Good reminder that road rage is stupid, and to keep your windows up and doors locked, and to use your car to escape regardless of what is in front of it,’ another said.
‘And this is why I drive with my doors locked,’ one woman commented.
