He was not clothed properly and his hair was a mess, hanging around his face, as he yelled out.

Concerned onlookers called police and the cops reportedly arrive quickly.

They arrived with an ambulance as well and somehow the police were able to subdue the star and get him on the gurney where he was strapped down for his own safety.

While on the gurney he stared up at the sky and seemed emotionless.

He was not charged as Pitt seemed emotionally disturbed, the site claimed. He was taken to a local hospital for care, it was also alleged.

The incident is being treated as a mental health problem.

In the state of New York, a person can only be held for 72 hours in a hospital to get care. Only a judge can decide whether the patient should stay longer.

The longest a person can be placed on involuntary psychiatric hold is 60 days.

This is not the first time the actor has had trouble with the law. In July he was arrested for assault and petty larceny in the same location in Bushwick, TMZ claimed.

The actor allegedly punched a man in the head over and over again to obtain his cell phone. The man had only minor injuries, the site added.

The police were called and Pitt was arrested.
